Jesus Christ, dude. Is MS paying you or something? You’re literally the only person I know who’s defending the XBOne in the first place, let alone this vehemently.
There’s folks who don’t auto-hate XBone~ But Ace is just tired at how people are just MAJOR angry with the system when it really hasn’t done anything to warrant the hate yet. Out of the three new systems, the ONLY one out is the WiiU. Folks are also only focused on the whole “OMG they only talked about MOVIES and TV! UGH!” [as pointed out by Ace]. He brought up the point that of coarse they’ll bring that up before games as they’re just getting that stuff out of the way, so when E3 rolls around they can talk about the games. But that got shrugged off in the Twittersphere~ I’d like to point out that barely anyone even talks about the good parts of the system, like the better specs the system will be getting, new controller (FINALLY AN HONEST TO GOODNESS D-PAD!), DVR/snapshot capabilities, a save cloud so you can play your profile on other’s systems without needing to do the memory card shuffle thing and some other neat things. We even get to see what it looks like. No one even knows what the PS4 even looks like! We just know what the controller MIGHT look like and that it does old people faces really well while tossing in what little spec info they released to the public. I’d also like to point out that while everyone is mad-hating XBone, no one seems to remember the hate they went through with the WiiU and the PS4 as well (so basically it’s safe to say console gaming through the major corporations has been a bad mark all the way through this gaming generation. Mark a point for PC gamers and the waves of “told you so!” to follow). No one’s been pleased with -either- system.
TL;DR- The unnecessary hate for the XBone is gettin’ old, especially after having to see it happen to two previous showings of new systems. I’m too old for console wars too~ Hell is this, seventh gaming generation now? Where the are all the VR console games we were promised as portrayed in ‘Dot Hack’ and ‘Sword Art Online’ anyways? 2013 and we don’t have a MicSonDo Matrix server to jack into to frolic in a virtual world. I don’t normally rage post, but look. It’s not just the console itself. It’s Microsoft’s business practices with the console the people are angry at. I highly suggest reading this post which highlights everything wrong with it. It doesn’t matter what games, if any, that come out for it at this point because unless Microsoft changes these anti-consumerist practices, it’s an awful console. The hardware inside the machine itself is decent, but they confirmed that out of the 8gb of ram in the machine, 3 will go to the OS which makes me question the efficiency of the hardware. Let’s not forget Microsoft also registered a patent to spy on them and charge them more for movies per person detected
There’s nothing that can save this console unless Microsoft gets with the program and realizes they’re hurting consumers with their practices. It’s not just the machine. It’s the people behind it.

I admit this one does have me worried and they are still being pretty vague on the subject. On the one hand if you can install games to your hard drive and don’t need to disc anymore, what’s to stop you from just giving your disc to all your friends to install on their systems and play the game for free, since they don’t need the disc either. Or you selling your disc to Gamestop after installation but still being able to play the game. Oh right, looks like they thought of those specific scenarios. Where it becomes foggy is when the console has been out for a few years and new copies of certain games no longer exist. I mean good luck finding a new copy of Viva Pinata or Crackdown nowadays (or even used for that matter).
